Darkest thoughts, deepest confessions, things that really should never be said out loud- this is not a comedy show for the faint of heart. A line up of some of Switzerland's best comedians will make jokes about everything horrible, sad, and cruel. After this show, you will understand why most comedians are in therapy, and probably you'll need some yourself. 

In the first half we will feature a variety of local up-and-coming comedians and the second half will feature 1 headliner. For this show our headliner is Swiss Comedy superstar Mateo Gudenrath.

Mateo has that classic MMA look with a porn-stache and a scowl - but don't be fooled by appearances, he is eloquent, quick-witted and sharp. Mateo won the Swiss Comedy Award in 2020, which he describes is about as impressive as winning a cooking competition in England. He has traveled all around the world with his comedy, performing also in German in Europe, and was recently featured on Comedy Central Roast Battle in Berlin. Mateo’s comedy is a mixture of storytelling and weird theories. His high octane rants are difficult to explain, easy to understand and most importantly: very funny.

The show takes place November 16th at a really cool venue in Kleinbasel, the great Heimat Bar! The address is Erlenstrasse 59, 4058 Basel. Doors are at 19:30 and the show starts at 20:00.

All reservations are free and you can pay what you feel the show is worth after the show. We want to make this accessible to all and believe that once you’ve seen the show, you’ll be happy to pay for a ticket. Our suggested donation is 20CHF per entry, and that money will go towards paying the artists you see on the night. Tickets can be purchased in cash or TWINT.
