In the first half we will feature a variety of local up-and-coming comedians and the second half will feature one headliner. For this show our headliner is the charming and hilarious Vanessa Lépine, a staple of the anglophone and francophone comedy scene.

On stage, Vanessa Lépine is the perfect combination of cute and ruthless. Beyond her charming smile hides a dark sense of humor and she will not shy away from uncomfortable topics that inspire her comedy - like being a woman in her thirties or conversations with her therapist.

Vanessa moved from Montreal to Switzerland 8 years ago. Based in Zurich, she performs and produces shows both in English and French all over Switzerland and runs her own comedy club in Lausanne. She was an opening act for the closing gala of the Montreux Comedy festival 2021.

The show takes place October 5th at a really cool venue in Kleinbasel, the great Heimat Bar! The address is Erlenstrasse 59, 4058 Basel. Doors are at 19:30 and the show starts at 20:00.

All reservations are free and you can pay what you feel the show is worth after the show. We want to make this accessible to all and believe that once you’ve seen the show, you’ll be happy to pay for a ticket. Our suggested donation is 20CHF per entry, and that money will go towards paying the artists you see on the night. Tickets can be purchased in cash or TWINT.
