The Malaysian and the... Swiss. Fairis Osman and Ivan Semashev are inviting you to see what they've individually been working on for the last five years. About the acts:

Fairis Osman is a Malaysian living in Switzerland. From a very young age, he was a shy person but was constantly laughed at. To relive that experience, he started doing stand-up comedy in 2019. He observes every funny detail around him, which is literally everything, including himself. He performs in Basel, Bern & Zurich to crowds ranging from 5 - 500. He's trying to change the world, one joke at a time.

Ivan Semashev is a Swiss man with Russian origins, who speaks 4 languages and can be funny in 12. He has performed in English and Russian at shows throughout Europe and occasionally outside of it, most notably at clubs like ComedyHaus in Zürich, Metro Comedy Club in Prague, or The Classic Comedy Club in Auckland. He is the co-creator and organiser of the Otter Comedy club, where he regularly hosts and performs. He’s energetic, passionate and has a vast sense of humour - from contemporary satire to complete silliness. No topic’s too sacred or off the table!

The show will be held at Heimat Basel (Erlenstrasse 59, Basel), entirely in English. This show is free-entry, with donations taken at the end. Doors open at 19:30, show starts 20:00.
